TIMES SQUARE – NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK
A 20ft. high cover wall for the water tower and elevator shaft on this 40 story building became the backdrop of a moving light installation created by Vortex. The glass structure is backed with a custom armature supporting rows of LED’s, programmed with organic and video art displays. The architects created squares or “jewels” up the façade to balance the crown which are also lit with complimentary solid state lighting.
